You shouldn't smoke or use a cell phone at the gas pump either. But that doesn't mean some people shouldn't be allowed to own cell phones or cigarettes.

Probably a blank round, and they did it just to let everybody know the pilots are now armed, which before this, I personally didn't know.

But if true, and actually WAS an accidental discharge, and assuming he didn't have it out "playing cowboy", then part of their training might ought to include NOT have a round chambered.

TSA and Norm Minetta, worthless POS he is, have done all they can to place undue burdens on pilots who want to avail themselves of the FFDO program. Crap like, pay your own way to get to the one training facility somewhere in AZ, I think, etc, etc. Minetta is a stooge who should have been fired long ago.
